I'm a thoughtful, sometimes serious (and usually verrrry silly!) person who loves to smile. I like to read, see films, go to the theater, and spend quality time with people I care about. I am blessed to have really fantastic friends, I sing in the shower, and am trying desperately to get my cat to like the rescue kitten I adopted (doesn't seem likely any time soon)... I am a teacher (8th grade), I don't watch a lot of TV (just the news and Friends), I'm goal oriented (I really want to go to graduate school; haven't gotten around to finishing either master's degrees yet because I ran off to sea to work on a cruise ship line in the middle of them both, but that's a story I will save for later...)
